“The size of your success is measured by the strength of your desire; the size of your dream; and how you handle disappointment along the way.”
-Robert Kiyosaki
From time to time we question ourselves about what we are doing with our lives. We feel stuck, in the so called “comfort zone” and even empty. Feeling tired, exhausted and without will. Wishing we could exit this situation but at the same time we are so fatigued to do something about it. Today I want to share a part of my life and how to shape reality. Our reality.
When I was a kid I used to be “the fat guy”, not really a big deal. In sports I was always picked last and classmates would laugh about how slow I was. I started to compare myself to others and stopped trying, building the “loser” mindset and gettting comfy with it. It was not until high school when my mentality changed and thus my reality. Arriving to a different city gave me the understanding that no one knew who I was and I could be whoever I ever dreamt to be. Later I learned that everyday I could shape my reality and become that person I aspire to be.
I want to share you three of my keys to shape reality:
1. Love your why
Whichever your goal is, love why you do it instead of what you have to do to achieve it. Simple but complicated for most of us. If you are like me and the gym, for example, each session seems endless and tedious. Remember why you are doing it and understand that it is getting you closer to the place you want to be.
2. Be disciplined
In order to achieve your goals you have to synchronize what you think, what you say and what you do. Constancy is the key factor to reach the level you desire. The amount of time you invest in a certain activity determines how good you become at it, so eliminate those distractors that pull you apart from your goals.
3. The power of believing in yourself
Most of the times the worst critic is the one you make for yourself. Even worse to believe what others think about you. Have in mind that you are the one who can guide your life and only you can listen and understand what you really are despite what people say. No one is going to understand you better than yourself, stop listening to the noise others speak and start believing more in what you can do.
Wherever you find yourself right now, have confidence in the fact that you can shape reality. Everyone has the spark of improvement and all human beings aspire for a better future.

Well yes, I really love AIESEC and its culture. These three points are worth and one should realize that he or she is unique and different from others. Compete from yourself, beat your own record. Start beating your won record and you will be able to reach your best version. Think about it:
How would you look in your best version?
Be focused. Think. Plan. Implement. Do it again.
Be a Leader. Leaders create leader.
Start from yourself. Change yourself.
AIESEC is the best thing happen in my life.

Hey! I found inspiring what you shared and I wrote a blog somehow related to “Think. Plan. Implement. Do it again.” Here is the link: https://blog.aiesec.org/5-steps-better-time-management/
Indeed our best comparison point is our own beings and we should always strieve for excellence knowing that we can always improve.
