Statement on AIESEC’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak | March 14th update

Montreal, Canada, March 14, 2020 AIESEC warns all potential customers or partners to cancel or re-schedule any volunteering or internship abroad programs due to start earlier than 1 June 2020.

Following yesterday’s “Statement on AIESEC’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak”, the development of the COVID-19 outbreak and in line with international and national safety advice and regulations. 

AIESEC has: 

  • Made changes in the aiesec.org portal to prevent any application for volunteering projects or internships starting earlier than 1st of June 2020
  • Ensured that all national offices are informed and ready to assist any potential or current customers and partners in regards to the status of all current and upcoming volunteering projects, internships and events. 

AIESEC advises all customers, partners or parents alike to contact the national AIESEC office in their location to receive a further appropriate response in line with the procedures in place applicable to each case and location.
